BOOKING CALENDAR
We provide driving personnel for the full range of vehicle requirements, from small vans to LGV Class 1, with BOOK that are based on a flexible structure which can be tailored to meet the specific needs of individual clients.
Standard BOOK for each principal category of vehicle :
Day Rate 1 & Night Rate 1
These BOOK are based on a regular eight (8) hour day. A basic hourly rate is charged for the first eight (8) hours per day. Hours worked exceeding (8) eight hours per day will be charged at an increased rate based on an overtime payment structure.
Monday-Friday BOOK are based on a minimum (8) eight worked hours per day.
NOTE: Weekend BOOK are charged at the standard hourly rate only regardless of worked hours. There is no rate increase after (8) eight hours.
The Day Rate 1 / Night Rate 1 are effective for operations where the eight (8) hour shift is the norm and overtime working is at a moderate level; e.g. local working.
Day Rate 2 & Night Rate 2
These BOOK are based on a standard hourly rate applicable regardless of hours worked (through working).
The Day Rate 2 / Night Rate 2 are effective for operations where the shift hours generally exceed eight (8) hours as the norm and allow a more consistent management of costs.
Working Hours
Our stated standard shift / rate calculations are based on a working period of 06.00 to 18.00 and 18.00 to 06.00.
However, we understand that it is common practice for a day operation to be based on earlier start times, for example from 04.00 to 19.00.
We will therefore be pleased to discuss a degree of flexibility in our stated day
rate times to accommodate such operations.
